When I Travel I Recollect that Despite everything i'm Characterized By My Skin colour

.In 22 years of going as a grown-up, the main time I haven't been addressed or potentially sought via airport security or customs in a foreign country was the point at which I was going with the spouse of a prominent Australian government official. When we arrived in Remiss we were met by an officially fancy pants sort of individual and fundamentally bypassed customs. After the marathon flight, it was an appreciated welcome - and one that has never been rehashed.


Regardless of where I go on the planet, on any landmass, from city to small town, at each airport I am singled out for additional security checks. I've been questioned, strip-looked, had my gear opened and strewn all over the place, and irregular things, for example, pencil sharpeners and eyelash stylers expelled - all for the sake of national security. (Yes, yes, I should be rebuffed for being so conceited I used to go with an eyelash styler - now I simply have a superior mascara - yet that is not the point.
It's the unpredictability of the situation; will I be hauled out to be interrogated? Will I be strip-searched?
